MEET VESNA

We are so excited to introduce Vesna, one of our incredible spring season Brand Ambassadors. She's currently awaiting baby #4 and we have loved seeing our products pop up in this little one's nursery.

Tell us more about you!

I’m Vesna, mom of three + one more on the way due in May. We live in suburbs of Chicago, and love to adventure. I love sharing everything about motherhood, and encouraging women to take care of themselves. About two years ago I left the corporate world and began the journey on Instagram and blogging. I am beyond thankful for the opportunities presented and the content I am able to create for brands. I absolutely love what I do, and the flexibility it gives me to be home with my babies while also working.
.
.
What is something weird/quirky about you?
I absolutely hate small spaces, I get claustrophobic and have a huge pet peeve with unmade beds.
.
.
What is your favorite food?
I am Serbian (Eastern European) so I love our homemade food and different dishes, but I also love sushi and tacos!!
.
.
Are you a dog person or a cat person?
I am definitely a dog person, but we don’t have any pets now.
.
.
What are you most proud of in the work that you do? How do you empower those around you?
I am mostly proud of being inspiration for other moms and women in today’s world to share their motherhood journey, their pregnancy, postpartum and encouraging them to be themselves, to not hide, and to take care of themselves. I share messages daily to motivate others.

.

.

What is something you've overcome as a woman in this world?

Overcoming the stereotype that woman cannot do both, be successful as mothers and also work. We are superwomen and can do it all, with a little more organization and great support system, like our partners.
.
.

What drew you to become a Brand Ambassador for Imani Collective?

I love the beautiful products, but mainly because they support other women in the world and they are made in another country.
