We love that she is a part of our community and we are so excited to introduce her to you!
Ashley resides in Las Vegas, NV where she is a Creative Director, Ethical Merchandising Strategist, Lifestyle Blogger and best known for being the woman behind Sister House Collective.
Tell us more about what you do and how you empower the community of women around you.
My life is all about empowering and encouraging women. My brand, Sister House Collective, empowers women around the globe by encouraging conscious, intentional living for women in the Western World and strengthening holistic wellbeing and economic sustainability for women in developing communities. What started as an ethical pop up boutique featuring socially driven goods, has evolved into more of a media and lifestyle platform. I now spend most of my working time blogging and sharing information about thoughtful and slow living, conscious consumption and highlighting ethical brands. I also document my journey of new motherhood on social media platforms. On the side, I help women build their creative, socially driven brands and assist small businesses with curating and building ethical retail collections!
Who or what inspires you?
People who are using their gifts, talents and resources to do good in the world inspire me, especially when they're doing it with authenticity and vulnerability. Places where energy, beauty and light reverberate also keep me inspired and refreshed.
What are you most proud of in the work that you do?
I'm most proud when I'm talking to someone about the impact we are all capable of having on our world and people in it, and it clicks! I see their eyes light up when they realize that in fact, a single person can make a HUGE impact when they make small shifts to be more thoughtful and intentional with their time/money/attention. My second proudest moment is when women tell me they have been inspired to share their passions, skills and convictions to make our world a better place. My heart just wants to burst when I witness all of the above!
One last thing to live by,
